The Umbro Top Rated Showcase Committee is excited to announce the return of the Top Rated CHALLENGE Cup — October 10–12, 2026

Taking place over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, the Top Rated Challenge Cup is designed for competitive boys’ and girls’ teams (U12 & U13 9v9 + U14 to U19 11v11) from across North America.
Matches will be hosted in Burlington, Mississauga, and select venues across the Greater Toronto Area, offering top-quality fields and facilities.

Event Overview

The Top Rated Challenge Cup provides clubs and academies with an exceptional opportunity to compete at a high level while earning advancement opportunities into the prestigious Umbro Top Rated Showcase.

• Three Guaranteed Games: Each team will play a minimum of three round-robin matches.

• Note: U12 and U13 will be 9V9 and tournament format over two days

  • Boys Game Days: Sat Oct 10 & Sun Oct 11

  • Girls Game Days: Sun Oct 11 & Mon Oct 12

• Championship Rounds: Top teams advance to Championship Finals, with awards presented to both champions and finalists in every age division.

• Qualifier Opportunity: The 2026 Top Rated Challenge Cup acts as a qualifier for the 2027 Umbro Top Rated Showcase. Winners of each age group receive automatic acceptance into next year’s Showcase in May 2027.

Championship Finals

The top teams from each bracket will battle it out in final matches to claim the title of Top Rated Challenge Cup Champions.
